Ali is a photographer interested in the dispositions of the diasporic self.
He tends to explore the relationship between self and space to question nuanced inherent qualities. His practice utilises observational approaches to examine subtle gestures, social behaviours, and the ways environments shape experiences of self.
He is currently based in London.
